About this stay
Pinewood is fifteen minutes above the city, near Elephant Falls, where the air smells of pine resin and the evenings are cool all year.
The cottage has two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace and a porch facing the trees. Kong Ibanri sends up jadoh, tungrymbai and smoked pork from her kitchen on request, and can arrange a driver for Cherrapunji, Dawki and the Laitlum canyon.
It rains often between June and September — bring a jacket and shoes with grip.
